Why don't you try talking to Turmfalke, the guy who wrote him and adds items to Tradebot? Might save you some time. He is usually either in the bank or on the left branch of the crossroads in H.

Like TMW, friendly bots should be free software.
They should be, but they don't have to be.
It is encouraged to publish the source of a bot under a free software license so that others can use and improve it too. But this is not a must-have requirement for getting a permission to have a bot on the server.

I trust Turmfalke, but anyone could make a TradeBot and just keep the items he got.

Any modified bot would need to be approved separately. And such a modification wouldn't be accepted.

lol Turmfalke is a dev im sure you can trust hes not going to walk of with your stuff. He has much buisyer or other things to be doing. Also omg this is a fricking amazing bot. can we make an npc just like him? with buttons and windows?

ok seriously, you shouldn't trust me only cause my current forum level says something about a dev team and I will honestly call everyone a idiot who adds as his first item a leather goggle(not in game since I don't want to get banned
)
For tmwserv, I am defently going to write a auction house if none else is faster.

System is already in place. Just need an in-game GUI for it. We're already planning a manaweb front-end too.
