I don't have an issue with a current GM as the GM I did have an issue with resigned. Do some research before you make assumptions about my motives. Which you are obviously clueless too.

You admit what i was saying is right because this post has no objection to the personal conflict with that GM, just the fact that the GM in question resigned. And yes I was unaware that he had resigned until i saw it in another post. Some of us have lives and don't spend every waking moment on our computer or this forum flipping through spam.

Some of us also don't spend every hour trying to get our friends promoted to GM or to get rid of the ones you disagree with, nor trying to change the fact that Platyna ultimately decides who is and isn't a GM.

Not that I totally agree with her as I don't agree with Wayne being unbanned. This goes against what Platyna has said in the past about her being fair and impartial. IMO rules are for all or none at all. I for one think it is the same favoritism that other GMs had done in the past were gotten rid of as well as many players quitting over. But with that being said it is her server and she can do what she wants. So all of these posts a certain group of people are making to ***** and complain about her are a waste of time and breath. The sooner everyone realizes this the sooner we can get rid of all this spam instead of a laughable power struggle in which people think they can change this simple fact. If people don't like the GM's here then leave or start your own server and hire your own GMs.

If opinions are of any matter here at all. I would go with two options the above having GM's that no one knows that don't play. Or another idea stated in another thread that GM's are always invisible. This would cut down on the kissing ass factor as it's hard to sit down next to a GM to kiss their ass in town if you can't see them. GM's should also have a separate character with a generic name like GM or GameMaster(not those specifically just an example) from the one that they play. And they should never disclose to any player what character they normally play if they do play. And the name should be the same for all GM's so no one can distinguish say Katze from Vink etc. Not only would it cut down on problems but I'm sure it would free up some of the endless whispers that GM's get from people trying to suck up (maybe not just an idea). Hopefully freeing up GM's to do rounds than sit and answer whisper after whisper from friends and such.

This is purely an idea and if I was The Borg Queen I would defend myself then lock this post and declare no change needed. Either way I have been reading these stupid posts and arguments and power struggles over something that is being offered for free for far too long. In all actuality I would say kiss my A** and go F*ck Yerselves if this was my server and the GM's I had hired if anyone posted this bullsh*t on it. Then I would say I pick who I want when I want this is spam and delete this thread.

I like this idea, I've thought about it before, just never posted on it. But, Platyna should look into this.

Well it is obvious that you would rather troll or create endless flamewars here by this and your other posts. I would go the route of saying you didn't read it because you have a 2 sec attention span like the other trolls here and no intention of having a civil conversation but we all know you read it by the comments above. But like most trolls when confronted with something true they attack and try petty insults. I must get going back to my fabulous life maybe you can take over the other side of the flamewar you want to create and post back and forth to yourself. I suggest starting another account and name it one of your other names or a new one for the desired effect. Or if you are lucky maybe Platyna will grace you with her presence and waste her time once again listening to more trolls complain about her and her GM's and why their friends should be a GM

The idea of GMs being invisible was one possibility. However, I'd like to counter it by saying the possibility of being spied on is much too easy. GMs are there to help the game move along nicely. True: it's more difficult when certain players have it "in for you" and plan on making a GM's life miserable. Which leads me to quote the remainder of your paragraph:

If each new GM takes on such ambiguous names as GameMaster1 and GameMaster2, then the petty and jealous players would be left wondering. The GM's job would be judged on actions alone. Imagine that!

You call me a Troll but read from the start. Who baited who into this little discussion of ours And regurgitating things that Platyna has said in the past and arguing her every point on her behalf with people who may disagree with her in no way improves your status here if that is what you think. I think maybe Killerz or Leela. They're always helpful and friendly, they've never broken the rules, they're posters on here so they know what goes on behind the scenes and they're always willing to help in game. Mind you, this isn't me throwing in some kind of nomination, just saying that that is the kind of person we'd want for GMs.

I love the idea of GM anonymity. I remember back when I played Everquest (a lifetime ago), that was sort of how it worked. GMs were GMs on a server that they didn't play on regularly, so no one knew them. As we're a one (main) server game, that bit wouldn't work. However not knowing who GM1 or GM2 are would mean people can't harass them and they could still play and enjoy the game as regular players instead of being on duty every moment they are online.

They're always helpful and friendly, they've never broken the rules, they're posters on here so they know what goes on behind the scenes and they're always willing to help in game. Mind you, this isn't me throwing in some kind of nomination, just saying that that is the kind of person we'd want for GMs.

Leela, as I explained in game to Kill3rz, that isn't my nomination for you AT ALL! I'm just saying that you two are really good examples of what would make a GM. I'm not saying you should take the job and I'm not doing what Amun is and suggesting people, I'm simply comparing you to Wayne and the differences.

I think after one or two weeks the identity of the game masters will leak somehow. Any attempts to keep an information like this secret would be futile in this community.
