I'm sorry but your in-game status says differently and excuse me for thinking that one is more important than the one on this troll-farm.
Sorry to step in your conversation as I like both of you BUT I know that Doulos does not want to be GM anymore. He told me so many times. And that his name is red at all ingame is not his fault as Platyna knows he does not want to be a GM. He does not act like a GM anymore therefore in my opinion he isn't.

ONTOPIC:
I think that code should not be legal. It is just a hole in the rules.
A character that does autohealing means, the player does not have to be on the PC. And no matter what you do -> take a coffee from the kitchen, taking a shower or going to the supermarket. You will be afk when you turn your autohealing on. Don't tell me something else. and wane was already banned for that. No offense at wane, I have no problem with you as a person. I just think, would I have such a patch and would use it, I would absolutely not sit on my computer while my character does the work alone. Maybe I would be near the computer to jump at the keyboard when a GM appears. (I know I can only speak for myself)
Even with the argument "this is not my intention, I will sit on my keyboard". If you release that code, If you give it away, people will just use it for that.

greetings
Leela

melkior wrote:But there's another solution. Make #inma cost HP. Healing bots with #lum won't be as useful, #inma will be saved for dire situations and players will be buying healing stuff more which is always a good money sink.
YES!

I say make it cost between half and quarter of the heal, or 5 Lifestones or 2 lifestones and 2 bug legs or something.

Maybe even add some more control to it - allow #inma to consume almost any item.

For now I think Fate plans on keep inma as the main healing spell... when Magic 3 is released I am sure that a new innovated healing spell will come with it. At that time he will make inma consume some of the caster's HP.

and thanks everyone.
Please... you act like your auto healing is some amazing feat of programming.

While I don't know all the features of your heal bot... making the client say something in response to a being emoting or saying "heal me" is not all the complicated.

In fact, since your so stuck up about it, I am motivated to release a patch that will do it to the public.

Also note... if Balthazaar gets the patch, he is free to redistribute it to anyone he likes to under the terms of the GPL.

You're such an ass, Amun.

I have to agree with that.

EDIT: Turns out Doulos got the wrong person, but I stand by my statement.

Thank you but I would rather see you give the ore to those that need it or maybe HMC for events and such. I wasn't really participating for a prize just trying to help you come to a decision. Anyways hang on to your ore my friend as it would only sit in my inventory as I don't get much time to log on right now. :)

Too bad, an auto heal has already been released. :D

Oh and Balthazaar (or Wayne, whoever has it) I need iron ore for my iron powder collection (75 already! ), I would gladly accept it.
