Attempts of so called TMWC to troll this thread are pretty desperate. Looks like the rules that were fundaments of this project for years no longer apply and no one was even informed.

Regards.

I joined this project many years ago and then left due to disagreements over how the pixel artists were treated with such little respect by the (code) development team, so much so that, we, the pixel artists, were not even considered to be developers by the ones maintaining the code.

It is I who originally made the Terranite set, a bunch of unfinished mobs, made several other items, and even (attempted) a partial NPC reskinning.

Personally, my input on this matter is that if the vast majority of the development team, many of which are still here from when I first joined, say that the project as a whole needs to move to another server hosted by a different administrator, then so be it.They are the true heart and soul of the project. They design it, they build it, and they create it. The people who were kicked out by the development team are the real ones making the fork.

Approximately half a year after stealing the server files from me you don't have a time to work for it? AFAIR the main argument for that take-over was that I don't have time for the project (and I wasn't a developer).

I am sad and amused at once.

Interesing news I got from you...

What is interesting - people are still writing to me about what is going on here - so I don't even have to bother with checking the forums.

However I feel obligated to react therefore I decided to post this.

Recent news I got:
* amusing thread of o11c who, approximately half a year after stealing the server files from me, complains that he doesn't have a time to work for TMW. AFAIR the main argument for that take-over was that I don't have time for the project (and I wasn't a developer).
* our player base decreased by half,
* people stop playing after level 20,
* people think that o11c is the only committee member left,
* developers copy user files where they see fit,
* o11c behavioural problems starts to kick in again,
* o11c exploits his diseases to make people listen to him,
* sycophants of current regime are spreading that I was bad example of an admin and very abusive (sic!),
* I was removed from contributors list and then added back as a "hostess" (why not stewardess?) and without my role of a content and package developer.
* current GMs take my quotes out of context to justify the putsch.

Well, only ElvenProgrammer as a domain owner can do something about this. You can write to him an email.

You can also move to themanaworld.net - however it requires a great work. I have defended my thesis recently so I should have more time for it, but I can't do everything myself also it isn't worth to put the time in if no one will be using it.

Current overlords of TMW.org are doing everything to make TMW.net unknown - eg. when we requested our server added to 4144's client list we got refused and he tried to force us to change the name of the server because o11c will dislike the current name.

Regards.

My post was far from any flame. Now any posting critical to the current regime will be considered flame and merged into this thread?

Oh well, this only shows yet another evidence for your hipocrisy.

Regards.

Hello again Platyna

Thank you ever so much for clarifying everything for us.
I forgot to ask how you were on my last post, you had said
you were feeling under the weather.

Hope all is good!

Damnit, I was hoping she wouldn't come back so soon ... I still only have 75% of her post count.

Platyna woke up...

> that he doesn't have a time to work for TMW.
I've seen you about 3...5 times in game in 4+ years I play TMW. I think I've seen o11c more than that in last few months already, even if he is really inactive as player. I can also assure you he gave players chance to learn he is here and writes code . This makes some further statements quite funny.

> AFAIR the main argument for that take-over was that I don't have time for the project (and I wasn't a developer).
See above.

> * our player base decreased by half,
IIRC decline started before move.

> * people stop playing after level 20,
Unreliable statement - how did you measured that? :P. And there was no major changes - why blame TMWC/o11c/whoever?

> * people think that o11c is the only committee member left,
He could be strange and some of his actions could be unexpected. But at least he can be argued with, can explain his actions and last time he caused chaos, he did really impressive bugfixing.

> * sycophants of current regime are spreading that I was bad example of an admin and very abusive (sic!),
I have something to say in this regard. I've done grepping all available GM logs, searching for all items introduced by rogue commands as I've been curious of some items origin. Unexpected side effect: YOU have earned #1 rank in abusing @item command. You have been the only person who dared to create something like banshee bow for self with @item rather than honestly complete Illia quest. Others devs/admins/... are/were more fair in this regard and resorted to worthless items for test purposes and only created expensive items as replacement of items lost due to technical issues.

> * current GMs take my quotes out of context to justify the putsch.
Your signature beats any quotes any time of day. Really uncommon way to admit you're systems administrator.

> it isn't worth to put the time in if no one will be using it.
Unique chance to prove your community management skills you've told about.

> our server added to 4144's client list we got refused and he tried to force us to change the name of the server
> because o11c will dislike the current name.
Lol, 4144 is not "overlord" for sure. From my experience he is always constructive, helpful and IMHO 4144 is really pleasant to deal with. So if you failed to find acceptable resolution I'll have hard time considering its 4144's fault.
