There are so many sellers but less items are on sale.

The number of seller accounts exceeds the number of available item slots that ManaMarket can use at once, so there will always be less items than accounts. Additionally, just because somebody has a seller account, that does not mean they are obligated to use it. If they have nothing they feel is worthwhile to sell, then there will be less items.
