My shurikens look like a lot of starfish.
If i make them of metal, would be better?

, I'd bet the best would be to make it recolorable using a dying channel.

These look like shuriken of bone. I think the smallest one fits the world, the big one can be an inventory icon.
They seem perfect enough. If metal is wanted then let's try adding contrast, a hue change, and some bright spots.

They don't seem to need anything. Maybe anti-aliasing (part-transparent (see-through) smoothing)

The idea is to make a shuriken made of bones, but, as i am the master of the pixel draft

, i am not getting the right form of my shurikens, and much less the color...
Well, but as you are saying that they looking good, i will select some shurikens [item: 32x32; item for the ground: 16x16; sprite:16x16 (i will do another one in "X" form for the rotation)] for my final post.

Thinking better, i chose make the item 16x16 (for the inventory).
And about the rotation, i have some problem with it.
If possible, someone make a simple gif file with this images.
One with 1 and 2; and another with 1 and 3.
obs.: yes, i don't have the program that do gifs files.

Hello Tengu,
The small Shuriken can be like an arrow without a bow.
The small Shuriken can become a "particle effect".
Arrows move fast. Shuriken can be 2 or 1 frames.
GIF is for idea showing. Particle for game is PNG sheet with invisible background.
If you knew this, I'm sorry.

Thank you bcs86 for this tip, but i did one gif for show one a little thing.
Look this (testerotacao1.gif), the moviment look like most natural, but, i did this with a "crooked" shuriken (see 3.png), and the "right" shuriken, produced a wrong moviment of rotation (testerotacao2.gif).
the doubt is: have any problem in make the rotation moviment with the "crooked" shuriken?
