He hasn't been active for a year. Even if you don't know him, trust me, he is a great GM. I definitively think that CapitanAwesome is more responsible than mrgrey but that is only my personal opinion after all.

I could go into a long rant about this, but I will not. Bottom line, mrgrey has a chaotic personality and can become extremely moody.

But he is also dedicated to the game and wants to improve the community.

I am weary of his impartiality do to his past behavior.

But i will vote yes, for the simple reason that I think he can do the job as long as he is watched.

For starters, Ali-G: Frost only said that he found me to be responsible(thanks for that by the way  ), not that I was moreso than CapitanAwesome. Honestly I don't think it matters what people think of Capitan, or whether they think I'm more/less responsible than him, it's just a topic to discuss/vote on how I would do as a GM. Plus, you've seen Capitan in the position of GM, so comparing him to me in terms of responsibility is pointless - you've never seen me in any position other than a player, hence no need to be responsible. :P

DarkWater - Thank you for your hesitant vote :P. I'll avoid a long reply, like you did here, and simply say this: I can maybe see how one might label me chaotic, though I don't think I'm all that moody. As for my impartiality, to be fair you may have a distorted view of that as we always ended up against each other in our forum debates lol. Honestly, only in one such debate did I let the fact that I was friends with a particular GM affect why or what I was saying on the forums, and I'll freely admit that time was a mistake that can't happen again if I do become a GM. Thank you for the vote and honest opinion, I'm only saying that its hard to know someone when you're only exposed to certain sides of them, especially online. :)

This is not enough Ali-G. Most of the players don't know him, it would be fair to open a new poll when he thinks it's time.
We never played at the same times but I was there when Cappy was a GM, so I can understand what you say but Frost is right, he needs a poll since many things can change in one year, even Cappy himself.

Seems you're right, I don't remember seing CapitanAwesome playing as a player and not as a GM. His inactivity was maybe justified but that doesn't necessarely implicates the fact that a new poll is needed for him. I like his job as a GM and I'd like him to stay GM, but afterall that is my personal thought.

Could we please get back on topic? This is about Mrgrey and his chances of becoming a GM, anything else would be considered off topic or spam. If you want to make a poll for CapitanAwesome then please do so, but don't talk about it here.

With that said, I personally think that Mrgrey would make a great GM. He knows the game quite well and as he stated before, he is on at odd hours which would help when other GM's are not around. After reading his questionnaire answers, my answer was confirmed. Mrgrey would make a great addition to the GM team and that's why he has my vote. Good luck Mrgrey.

mistergrey wrote:I'll also point out that him saying he'll (CapitanAwsome "probably be active this year as GM" is really quite vague. For all I know that could mean he'll be around once a week, month, or every day. So stating that no other GMs should be needed seems a little premature to me, to be honest. If I got the votes and no more GMs were needed, that'd be fine with me, but I don't think a "probably" is sufficient enough to say that there won't be any need for more GMs.

Also, I'm on at odd hours, like argul said :P

yes.

I do know who mrgrey is [...].
Same for me now :(
of forum: mistergrey: 191 posts. Content shows he is a responsiple person. Anybody could tell me who CapitanAwsome is here, so I can have an opinion?
DarkWater wrote:mrgrey has a chaotic personality and can become extremely moody.
Everybody has feelings and moods. The point is that personality and moods don't have to show up when wearing the GM cap . The same should apply to developers and administrators (and moderators in forum).

Maybe having more (1or 2) active GMs would lighten the load of the actual ones. btw I did'nt know that devs could remove the GM status, I thought only admins could.
Thank you mrgrey for answering the questionnaire.
I still vote YES (caps intentional)

We're looking for humans here. Nobody is perfect.
I don't see him that moody, though.

same here >> yes

I have nothing negative to say about mrgrey.
He is a good online friend.
Smart, fun, honest and I think he could be a responsible GM. I'd trust him with such a position.
