to remember, this started(i know this is now not the right thread...) for plain player input.
if u feel something like the landbridge and moneysink is mentioned over and over again maybe consider it not off topic but worth.

I see that for current moderating team a topic about free and reliable hosting in a hosting thread is a flamewar topic and spam, while the last three pages in this thread are completely fine and on topic. You are a bunch of hipocrites.

To answer the question if I am reliable - under my administration developers had full freedom to develop the game. They have stolen the data because I refused to give them powers over community. Since 2005 I involved into development ONCE, when the change was a threat to existence of this project when developers decided to focus on the code instead of the community. If I didn't stand up then, now you would have no forums and no server to with files to steal.

So, pick your system - unreliable, shady and powerhungry committee created on to blur responsibility, or a fair and impartial leader who is to ensure clear and even division of powers and responsibilities.

We really did not need to be told about your server, since it's been down for almost 9 months. But it is refreshing to hear you finally say it. We can address your powerhungry stance moving forward. But I, for one am so happy to see you moving forward.

At least, it consists from either those who were elected by players, or those who are willing to actively take part in development. So, while TMWC decision making process isn't transparent and surely can be better, I can at least understand why these people could have their word about future of TMW.

Leader is one who leads. It's about being respected and trusted, so people would agree you have to lead the way. Somehow, you proven NOT TO BE such person. Most players do not care about you and preferred server with alive developers, even after your forum-wide spam. Then, you proven how "reliable" your system(s)... by letting it down for almost year. So, those few who preferred it, were thrown away. Not to mention you failed to gather players community and spin up development processes.

Isn't it time to get real and stop this idiocy? These devs would not work with you and you lack other team. Players aren't your best bet either. GMs do not seem to be big fans of Platyna dictatorshit either. So what is the point to bother them? If you think you can do it better - PROVE IT. Implement it, and we'll see how it performs. That's how OpenSource meant to work, actually.

Like I said: my last post about forum organization was my last post regarding it (since you mention "the community" - no, this only counts for you ♥ ).
I proved often enough that I'm a rather peaceful and fair person but if you try to make a fool out of me then I won't hesitate to treat you the same.

Since you mention the wiki:
If you have a problem with it then write it in the freaking correct section of the forum and not - once again - in a totally different topic.
