what you talking about?2016-01-10 19:30:11 wushin join #opengameart and ask "Hey who wants to make me 268 frame sprite piece gear for free"
Thanks to you....are you kidding us?wushin wrote: This is just shear arrogance to give more credit for a thing to a certain group than others. Never before has a TMW dev existed (except maybe wombat) so open to change. I've contributed to pretty much all the things; various servers, M+, TMWA, Server-data, tools, website and client-data editing. I think only a few devs ever managed to contribute something to all. Trained up a few people as well and had help from some elders.
- Player Sprite 1.5
- Player Sprite Dye channeled
- Player Sprite Species
- Gender per char
- most all tulimshar changes
- Remapping for bagzie's snow art
- Quest Log
- Mob<->Warp freeze bug
- Mob pathing issues
- Maintaining TMWA
- Updating wiki
- Getting TMW into SPI
- Free DNS
- Free SSL
- Conflict free hosting (seriously, if I leave TMW ya'll don't have to move the server...again.)
- Xmas Event
- Halloween Event
- Travel Changes
- Various New Quests
- Candor Island Revisted
- So much much more I don't even remember doing that I did
- Did it all with the help of many others
is it still not clear for you?mas886 wrote:I insist there's a lack of communication between the development team (TMWC) and the community.

Nobody expect something from you.wushin wrote: The problem came from always being "expected" to be the one doing. Yes, it's open source, yes the community matters, but those making commits and changes get more voice because they are doing and fixing. If I'm guilty of anything it's being lazy.
no, SriNitayanda, it was not directed toward one person, read it well :SriNitayanda wrote:Afaik wushin directed it at a specific player, not all the people who got criticism on the change.Travolta wrote:Why do you call "haters" everybody who disagrees with you?wushin wrote:Haters gonna hate. Playing the innocent and the victim, why they dont think to you to play in the new star wars, i wonder why?wushin wrote:Actually, I've asked for nothing more than someone to do the work. Here we have at least 15+ people who voted yes, who are highly capable doing nothing.
Remember we are all volunteers here. None of us are obligated to do. I'm not even sure when the community became too lazy to even scratch an itch.
First : respect the rulesprsm wrote:Offensive language, and for the record, I don't have to answer to you.Adrena wrote:know u tell me why was it wrong!
I am tired of your rhetoric, you seem to languish in pushing the limits. You lack filters. Just the fact you said "I won't again" instead of "what Did I do" tells me you know.
Your playing this game like we owe you something, we don't. To my knowledge you have done nothing to make this game better. You haven't done development or admin work or GM work or art work or wiki.
All you do is spew verbal diaherra in town, sometimes for hours at a time!
If you can't follow the rules or won't, quit. If you can follow the rules you won't ever hear from me.

What i have missed?[21:34] Prsm: you just said this [21:32] Enga: did the Cute Kitten like more?

i dont saw a flame wars, dont speak for nothing.SriNitayanda wrote:I wanted to summarize a few points about content flame wars, as a reminder for anyone who wants to complain about content in future and for myself for having a history of starting at least one and engaging in a few.
I'll start by quoting wushin: "Yes, it's open source, yes the community matters, but those making commits and changes get more voice because they are doing and fixing."
So i think before complaining we need to ask ourselves: Can we make it better?
.....
If you still don't engage in any of the above but think you got an awesome idea, make a poll on this forum on whether to implement your idea.
If you don't have any constructive idea but still want to complain, congratulations you are a troll. go ahead and complain but don't expect us to take it seriously.
Flame wars are usually divisive of the community, i am posting this in order for us the community to take responsibility too on the changes that are going on in the game. By doing nothing, we lose our credibility when complaining.
Long live tmw
cheers
Ofc i forgot open source is all about yielding to the demands of random bullies, well that sounds more like a communist source.Altus Institute wrote:So you bunch of dumbass, make your mind about it, IF SOMEONE OF THE COMMUNITY HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY ITS NOT UP TO YOU TO SAY THAT HE HAVE NOT THE RIGHT TO DO IT

i am sorry you forgot to turn on your brain today,
to spew hatred at the people who can actually make the change.
but we won't tolerate spewing hatred on the forums so that is a warning.
