Kron, first of all what you may or may not of witnessed is of no importance. As I have told you numerous times, just notify a GM if you discover a person botting. If restating this is flaming, so be it.
Whisper has been available for many months indeed, so I guess Trelos was seen botting a long time ago indeed. Can't believe anyone would still be making an issue of it after so much time has passed. Perhaps you should try to let it go and move on with your life and the game. This is after all just a game.
As for my agreeing with Sugar's statement that Wombat has referred to himself as a god, I only did so to point out the error in your prior statement. I really could careless what he declares himself to be.
I guess in the eyes of the law that Sugar and I are perhaps considered to be common law married. What relevance does that have to anything here? Is it an attempt to show that there is some grand conspiracy by her and I against you and Wombat?
And lastly, since when is responding to someones post considered fighting. All I've attempted to do is point out obvious. I can continue to do so as long as needed.

One person can have several IPs and several persons can share the same IP. I don't think it's realistic to expect an internet community to be able to work exactly like a real life society.

IP addresses are not constantly assigned to the same person. Every internet service provider has a pool of IP addresses and assigns them randomly to its users. You usually receive a new IP address from the pool whenever you go offline or at regular intervals (usually every 24 hours). Every IP address you receive has been used by countless of other users of your ISP before. So when you try to look up information about a person based on an IP address most of the information you find will be from completely unrelated people.

Here are some of the over 100 IP addresses the forum logged for me. Google them, enter them into whois services etc. and everything they will tell you is my internet service provider. (Google does not return anything for the first five. Maybe you are more lucky with the other ones)

Dave, again, what are you talking about? It seemed that I was intent on making it about Trelos? I stated in this thread that it wasn't about Trelos many times. I stated that it was about my group many times and folks wanted to keep trolling the thread. You want to keep at it and then you want to downplay it? Dave, maybe you should stop trying to control the situation like you keep trying to do? You are the one that wants to keep running your mouth on this thread, take a few more digs here and there and then declare your boredom. Just shut up and you will get what you say you want.

As for me backed into a corner? I really can't see where you are getting this from, nor why I would be backed into a corner when all you are doing is posting a small handful of responses about a paragraph long with remarks that continue to exemplify your shallow take on the world.

The rules are the rules. You just admitted to him botting. Such a remark from a friend is quite valuable as evidence. You heard it folks, trelos was botting, said straight from the horse's mouth.
I guess in the eyes of the law that Sugar and I are perhaps considered to be common law married. What relevance does that have to anything here? Is it an attempt to show that there is some grand conspiracy by her and I against you and Wombat?
You lied about 1 thing, so why can't you and sugar been lying this whole time? I consider lies insults to my intelligence, and I consider yours quite offending, I do not think your spouse would appreciate you denying your marriage.
And lastly, since when is responding to someones post considered fighting. All I've attempted to do is point out obvious. I can continue to do so as long as needed.
What was that again? I can't seem to remember with this floating around...
evadem wrote: Since when is idling considered to be botting? If you do in fact find someone botting, wouldn't it make since to report them to a GM rather then cry about it on this forum? This thread has become nothing but a name calling and pissing contest. Give it a rest.
I suggest you follow your own advice.

Many have said that this topic needs to end and I agree. I have a few things to say first though.

* The HMC has done many good things for the community, as Wombat said earlier, so this was never the issue, I believe. Anyway, it's up to the clan and its leadership to decide if the criticism was justified, and if so, what they can do to mend matters.

* The GM policy is that we only ban someone for botting if we catch the person in the act. This is of course to protect the innocent. It has nothing to do with a person's clan relations. If we find a person who seems to be botting and the person does not respond to simple questions within a reasonable amount of time, that person will be banned (or reset if they wish), regardless of clan membership and regardless of whatever excuses they come up with.

Wombat, this ceased to have anything to do with either your resignation from HMC or your group long ago.
I simply said to give the botting allegations a rest and report any botters to GMs. For this you decided to brand me as a troll. Perhaps you should brand Kron and all others that have posted in this thread as such also.
Little that I have posted here has been in regard to you. For the most part it has been in response to Kron's rantings about Trelos. Granted the few remarks I have made regarding you haven't been too flattering. These were only made in response to your posts directed at me. I have every right to respond and will continue doing so. Besides I enjoy reading your lame attempts at character assassination.

Kron your last post is so lame I think I'll pass on responding to it. You might want to consider professional help or medication.

Wow. Do you think anyone buys this? WEAK. You suck at trolling. Create decent drama or GTFO.

This thread is a disgrace for both Los Viscerales and the Holy Mana Clan.

My respect for all the participants in this "discussion" has been reduced a lot.

People have attacked me and I have defended myself. I wrote my letter explaining why I left HMC. I wrote something to be submitted for the wiki. I wrote something explaining my group. Other than this, I have been attacked over and over. People have attempted to demean my character with accusations of slander and I responded with hostility in kind. Maybe you could explain how this should lower your opinion? I'm not going to back down to assholes.

We got a proverb in Germany: "Why should the proud oak tree care when a pig rubs against it?"

Whenever you insult someone you are also insulting yourself. The best way to deal with people you consider below your moral standard is by not honoring them with attention. Sure, it hurts your reputation when people insult you, but your reputation suffers even more when you insult back.

P.S.: This post is addressed to all parties involved here.

I disagree. Had I not responded, people could of drawn a different conclusion from the events. People defend themselves for a good reason and especially when it is about the preservation of character. I find maxims to be limiting in thought and removed from real experience, so I can't give you an American version.

I never resorted to personal attacks, I simply defended myself.
