why do i get this when i want read how to help?

I heared there will come
in future a new server with
a complete new game
and that server now will be closed
and we all have to start by 0
on a new one.
is that true?
I love that game how it is and i dont want
that it is complete changed in future.

and what is with question 2?

From what i have seen and heard there will be a new server with new gameplay and you will start from zilch, however i'm not sure the server will shut down completely.. perhaps a Dev can shed some light on this...

As has been said many times here and on IRC: we plan on keeping the current server running as long as enough people want to play it.

My apologies for exasperating this question, I have not used the IRC developer's channel and do not know how to operate an IRC.

But, I believe the most pressing question applied to these is the transfer of current players to the new server.

as daemonowner pointed out,

Whether we are to have our current xp, items, and our status transferred to this new server, and my assumption, a new game.
or if we are to be invited to the new server, as brand new players.

The common thoughts about the new server are "why would i spend my time here if I'm gonna go to a new sever when I'm going to start all over again."

Could you, or any others, respond to the community perhaps in the client news. or in the main mana world page.

After a short search:

I first downloaded the original client from "portableapps.com"
it states clearly on the bottom of the descriptions:

"This application is still in development, and so is its server. At the moment, it builds on a existing server, but it will eventually switch to a custom-built server. At this point, all existing accounts/characters will be lost."

...

It did not discourage me from playing the game, I thoroughly enjoy it and look forward to the new server and how this game evolves.

Go look at the post date of the new server faq topic. By the time it does get here you will probably have multiple level 99 characters, all the items you sought out to get and be bored to ****. I'm guessing at that point starting over won't sound so bad.

I agree, it'll be kinda fun seeing us all as n00bs.
