The background material in the wiki is not really reflected in the game. This is because it got developed in parallel with the current game content and is still not set in stone. So normal player needn't really read this stuff.

The content of the TMWserv content releases will have a lot more connection to the background material in the wiki. So people who want to contribute here should know the background material on the wiki thoroughly.

Thank you Tengu for posting this.
I'm one of the many players who don't know the history of The Mana World.

I'm glad to hear Crush, that it will be implemented throughout the new server.
....
You can find the history starting from the project description: under the http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/ ... escription

Or a direct link:
http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/Backstory

I'd like to make a suggestion:
Perhaps a library should be open or NPC historian, NPC professor of some sort can be placed into the game (eA - or TMWserv) to also give some light to the history of the mana world, perhaps even make these a quest.

(I hope nothing like the beer giving stories of Khafr tells, a bit lengthy and could slow down a few people reading it all)

Khafr, great warrior and storyteller.
Beer, chicken leg, and stories...something better?

Good times... :)

Except that it might just change with manaserv...

With the goal of having the back story worked into the game, so the player would know at least the gist just by playing!
