Couldn't find a relevant Development forum for this (there isn't a Manaserv forum), but I know a simple way of making tabs for people to speak a certain language in.

Add a command If you want to speak Spanish, type (if you want to make a cybersex tab, use "/tab cybersex")

Basically, you can make a tab with any title you want. What do this tabs do? If somebody says something beginning with Spanish:, eg "Spanish: Tu madre esta una vaca", the client will only display it in the Spanish tab.*

Of course, you can disguise your language as another ("Spanish: Deine Mutter ist eine Kuh"), but it means that Spanish speakers can speak to each other without bothering people like Cecil Burrow (j/k, I love ya Cec).

The great part about this idea is that it doesn't require any effort whatsoever from the server. It's entirely client-sided. You can make a million different tabs, and it won't be the server that gets bogged. Just say to someone, "Hey! Let's make our own tab!" and you both type I'm sure this wouldn't be that hard to do, and Spanish speakers will be able to talk in town, or have fivesomes. Whatever. Just make sure you tell them:
There will be no moderation on these tabs, because GMs cannot see them and do not speak Spanish. Although they may join in on the cybersex.

Manaserv already supports all of this (with different command names).

Too difficult to consider IMO.

In that case, I shall concentrate on making the Easter event. Right now. I'll hop of the internet and do some serious pixelling. Sure thing. That's what I'll do.
