UFB server (Multilingual, new content, ...) !

Good (Morning/Afternoon/Evening) my fellow denizens,

I wish to publicly announce that a new realm is mystique and intrigue has arisen from the dark and dank abyss for you and your characters to explore.

Contained within this realm, you will find that we have introduced some new elements into play. For example, you will notice that the playing field has been expanded with additional rivals, NPCs, quests and overall, a much more explorable environment.

New players can easily start up their new lives within the world with the simple to follow quests which have been devised to assist in offering them the best start-up experience and to enjoy the game while at the same time, giving them all the tools they require to becoming the next great players of the game.

The server is operating on a multilingual basis due to the fact that the server is hosted in Lille, France and as it is dedicated, that should mean that it will be online 24 hours a day for 7 days a week. As a result, you will find that many of the players will be speaking French yet do not let that dampen your enthusiasm as all languages can be spoken freely within the game.

We have already gotten an established base membership with the amount of users online swinging like a pendulum from 5 to 25 at any given moment. The most active time for people to be online appears to be at 9PM during Greenwich Mean Time +1. In order to further the development of the server content and to allow everyone to have access to it, a GIT has been setup at http://gitorious.org/tmw-ufb.

Of course, I have forgotten to mention the important details of both where to find the server and where we can be contacted. To counter-balance this, I shall provide you with both.

wow, first time i actually see that this is the new server
i read the news on clientstart, but only the testing one was choosable so far.
looking on tmw official site, nothing suggests that this actually is the new server.
the client doesn't know about that or does yours?

This server is not official, and is not supported by anyone from TMW at all, AFAIK.

Also, I don't like spammers, and they keep coming, if people will spam about UFB I will start a crusade against it.

Many of the new content contributors for this server are coming from TMW-UFB. They don't use this server's IRC because of the DDOS problem from last year. I have scripts I wrote for their server. We are dumping the snowland and are going to use TMW-UFB's snowland maps in the near future. TMW-UFB is more like a sister server than an enemy.

As a developer for both games, I'd like to see friendly relations continue. With that said, I've mentioned to tmw-ufb server administration keep updates to a minimum. If others spam about the server, please feel free to use your administrative powers to do what you think is correct.
