Hello! new player here

Hey all! I found this game through the PortableApps website. I'm always interested in the sort of "off the beaten path" kind of games like this, so I decided to check it out. It's certainly interesting so far, but I find myself wandering around without any real direction. The areas I'm curious about are:

Stats - I'm trying to set them how I think they should be for a "fighter/warrior", but the Wiki basically says that all of the points are good, which is of little help. Is there an order in which they should be pumped? Are there some builds or guides somewhere that I can look at ?

How to start? - Do I just run around killing stuff? I've been killing pinkies to get some antennas so I can get a scythe but it's taking forever. I think I've gotten 2 out of like 40 pinkies.

Where can I look to find out more? Apparently you can buy land? Thanks for any help :D

hey there
warrior focus on dex and vit. and a bit at luck but not at the beginning. at the beginning just focus on dex and vit... :)
there are some beginners quests: two in tulimshar, you can go for maggot slimes and do the green dye quest, you can get yourself leather boots then go for fluffies and do the Agostine in nivalis. also the scythe, short sword. also cave snake lamps for doug in dimonds cove and after Agostine also the quest about that coughing...

good luck

Welcome to the Mana World Eric!

Yes this is mostly a kill/quest/gather type of game. At lower lvls like you are (estimating since you're aiming for a scythe) getting armor will most likely be your "goal" for now. And of course do get that scythe.

List of quests can be found on the wiki page.

As for stats, I gave a long lengthy reply on "general classes" i.e. warrior/archer/mage.

Although crystabal wants to become an archer---> mage, I gave a post reply before then about the "general classes". Feel free to look at that as a starting point.

Be seeing you.
