Well, finally i will start this item.
I've tried again the same technique about metal effects but look like that i not getting the right effect.
Someone can give me a tip for the colors that i need use?
And about the angle (45°), i've tried make one item already with 45°.
My doubt is: i make a item already with 45° or i make them normal for later do the rotation?

IMO the prespective is wrong, even for a item... And I think it is too big as well...

for the Dark_mage: your shuriken look like nice about metalic effect, but also look like chromed, if you don't care, i will use some colours of the your throwing star for improve my own.

for the Kage: the size will be fixed (20x20, or another size)

for the Phaeton: Thanks for your opinion :)

Is this for fighting or just a inventory item. Not to be a downer but if it's for fighting there will need to be a player set fighting animation for it. A kinda half crouched sideways throw with the right hand from left to right would be nice. (unless of course you are left handed  ) To appear stealthy.

Would be a nice addition tho for BD's assassin set. :D

Reduce height value to 70% for perspective. I think it needs to have more glimmer. Maybe give it dominate edges to increase the blade like effect. Maybe mess around with shape? (Different style shuriken) Give it a more dynamic look. (realistic)

Don't reduce the height of that image. If you do, it'll look squashed. First, draw the outline of the shuriken's base - reduce the height of that 70%, and build it up from there.

EDIT: And dynamic doesn't mean realistic, it means adaptable.

I was saying Dynamic to increase its realistic features. He can make the graphic how ever he pleases as long as it looks good. Green is your color my friend. Poison Ivy

For simplify this work i will show some models of others shurikens.

Next step, color. After of we chose the model, let's work in the colors, until became more realistic possible.

And the final step will be the "perspective", or, the angle of 45 degree.

THE TRANSPARENCE EFFECT WILL BE ADD IN THE END OF THE WORK.

now, i will start work in some models, and use the colors of the Dark_Mage.

Brazil, 07:35 AM.
