Hello,

I have read several posts where people have asked for help with problems with the 4144 patch client, who were unhelpfully told they can't ask for help with hit here but not told where they [i]can[/i] get help with it.

Can anyone tell me where I [i]can[/i] ask for help with 4144 patch clients?

I have searched Google, but I'm only able to find the patch itself.

Moved to player talk because organizing the support for the 4144 patch is equally off topic in the general support like supporting it.

It's about as on topic as you can get: I'm asking "if I can't get help here, where can I get help?"

Why should we be required to support another's code?

Not really. We just have n+1 kids trying to eat away our weekly 2 hours we have for the project with n+2 questions about the 4144 patchset, with which we have next to nothing to do with. We even have a nice thread for the patchset on eA tech development where things are somewhat answered. Iterating through different response methods is only sensible if the first tens of approaches did not reach our target audience.

He should set up his own forums or any other channel of communication or advertise his thread more. (Mostly he sits in-game and you can contact him there. Anything wrong with this for you? Should he state this somewhere?)

Bug him about that one since I think he wants to be nice to you all. He might be afraid of getting overflown by your feedback and flaming over every single small change, detail and issue, as we're now somewhat being.

You can whisper him anytime ingame. He answered me even two or so hours after i whispered him, as he was afk. And he helped me. Was nothing big but well.... Why always ask here when you can simply write a pm or whisper him ingame?
