tmw dont start

hi there,
i set the screen options to "open gl" and now tmw dont start.
can someone help me please?
i use kubunt 9.10 if this helps.

Run in a console with the --no-opengl switch.

Along the same lines, just got registered yesterday and played for a few fun hours, then when I tried to run again the TWM window wouldn't open.
ran from console bare

me@mymachine:~$ tmw
Couldn't set 800x600x0 video mode: Could not create GL context
me@mymachine:~$
So I figured to try the same trick using --no-opengl

me@mymachine:~$ tmw --no-opengl
tmw: unrecognized option '--no-opengl'
tmw
Options:
-h --help : Display this help
-v --version : Display the version
-u --skipupdate : Skip the update process
-d --data : Directory to load game data from
-U --username : Login with this username
-P --password : Login with this password
-D --default : Bypass the login process with default settings
-p --playername : Login with this player
-C --configfile : Configuration file to use
-H --updatehost : Use this update host
-S --homedir : Directory to use as home directory

any other secret options I can try?

Updating your client.
If yours doesn't have that option, it's too old for use on our server. 0.0.29.1 is the minimum supported version.
You can build a newer one or use a Windows one under wine (works perfectly).

Hmm, ok ubuntu repository picked out 0.0.28.1 for me
Is there a repository for the latest version?
Or do I have to git my hands dirty (pun intended) building from source

1. You can use git version and compile.
2. You can use windows nightly build in wine.
