This is me and Gandolf and Kevin. Kevin is small here but now he is bigger than Gandolf. I have named characters after my Gandolf because he always gets jealous of me spending 8 hours with the keyboard and get on it all the time / rawr

I grew up with pets and definitely miss it. My girlfriend has been wanting a pug her whole life. I think once she moves into a place where she can have a dog, I will get her one. But I'm a little torn because we both work so much. I find it cruel to have an animal at home alone all day.

How do you all do it? I realize that cats are a little different, but dogs need to be out and about.

It is cruel to have an animal be alone all day. That's why people in your situation tend to get their friends a companion. Get two pugs.
