Didn't know where to put this, so, I'm posting it here. If it doesn't belong here then someone please move it to the appropriate section.

Right, so today I was playing tmw, and was having a bit of fun with my party member MrWho. We were joking around comparing things.... all trolling aside now, I have been banned by Narus for 1 year. I am hereby asking that this banned be overturned on the grounds that the ban was unjustified.

'Stupidity' is on the rules now? ^^

There is no log entry for banning DarthMule at all, in any way.

I would have to know more before I could begin to judge on this one. Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

Maybe it was yours the char 'Duck You', and it was on the same account as Darth Mule?

As you can see in the log I did not ban other chars, I asked the server to ban a player named ... as you can read in the log:
[2010-07-01 20:16:39] 009-1.gat(47,33) Narus : @l we have a char in town named, Duck You so i will ban him for insulting name
[2010-07-01 20:17:03] 009-1.gat(47,33) Narus : @ban 1y Duck you

Bans affect the whole account.

That is why people who created "bad name chars" should get the chance to delete them. However, I do think that a bit of a time out for that is also suitable. If you see me online, I will give you the chance to delete that character. I will then of course try to re-ban it which will ban the whole account again if the respective char has not been deleted.

i agree with katze. it is unfair to ban a person just because of their name. they deserve a chance to get rid of that character.

They get banned and contact a GM to work on removing the character. The rest of the account is usually recovered (depends on the user's willingness to work with the GMs).

Hey guys. Been a while since I've been on. I was banned a while back for creating an offensive character and received a one year ban from Narus. I do not blame her. She was in the right. However I would now like the chance to go back and delete that character so that I can continue my use of DarthMule. All I want is for the ban to be lifted (if only temporarily) so that I may remove that character. It ha been several months since I was banned and fell that I have learned my lesson.

I also apologize to the GMs who took interest in the thread and Jaxad0127. I was busy with school, work and life and didn't have the chance to attempt to recover the account. If possible I would like to try now.

It will auto delete it self in time.

Admins can force remove players and accounts so I don't see why this was not disccussed with them in the first place.

I made this thread because I was banned. This is the courthouse section. I posted here about the ban. I did not have the time to come on every day, nor did I have the time to post on the forums. I am attempting to recover the account now because real life takes priority. When I asked where I should go to post this, this is where I was told to go.
