Edit Add: I changed the original file that was here because I mistakenly used the wrong image. This one is going to be "the mage" since it is my favorite of them all.

We might want to avoid stepping into the land of copyrighted characters any more than we already have.

Please don't argue on this thread. Those that are making NPCs inspired by other works would be best rethinking their creations instead of attributing their creations to copyrighted material. They are original works and could be named something else which wouldn't fault the creator. I do agree with Rotonen, but I also think the easy step around this is to name "wario" -> "short angry dwarf" and "beetlejuice" -> "undead dude from the netherworld", which would fix the problem. The "w" on the "short angry dwarf"'s head would need to be changed, his clothing recolored, to avoid any resemblance to copyrighted material. If a fan made it, it falls within fair use, but if it enters the game, that goes beyond fair use in my opinion, so Rotonen is right.

Here goes a short angry dwarf, as an example. This won't be accepted as is, he's not creepy enough.

Any NPC name with "*Done*" next to it is complete enough to be added, though more and better art could change that. The rest still need art for:

Innkeeper
Gambler
Receptionist
Banker - *Done*
Common Shop Keeper
Bartender
Barmaid
Grim Inn Guards
Brewer
Drunk Couple
Laborer
Weapon Master
Innkeeper's Husband
Magic Shop - *Done*
Mage - *Done*
Drunk Guy - *Done*
Other Lover

Some of the good art that isn't specific to any of these roles may fit. Common Shop Keeper or the Other Lover could be hanged, netherworld dude or headless, for example, but there may be more specific art that could be made for them.

Some art has been submitted that is good and doesn't fit any of the described roles, like the crying child. This child will be added to the list now.

Btw, the 'headless' is a good start, you can add hair on his 'head' ? He can take his head by his hear... no? and you can do his head more undead? :p

skipy, if you could color her dress black, purple or dark crimson, it could work without repeating the dress Reid has. Otherwise, it seems to be good, though I haven't tested it yet. After this is done, she will be the "Receptionist".
