Ok lately I noticed that I can't see some things in the game anymore:

bones that got dropped (since about 2 months)
cauldrons (since about 1 week)
pinkies (since 2 days)

is it something with the updates?

Mana, from git and 0.0.29.1: I can't see with Mana the pinkies, but 29.1 I can. Bones I can't see with Mana, but 29.1 I can. Cauldrons, both clients I can't see them.

You can thank Kage for the missing cauldrons, as well as the missing weapons racks, work benches, etc.

As for the rest, I can see pinkies, bones, etc, fine in both Mana 1.0 and mainline (what the nightlies are built from).

Go into "setup" and activate "opengl" and perhaps that should fix the bones and pinkies. The other issues Jax mentioned what's going on with them.

EDIT:
ok 4144 helped me out here.
at least for linux the following helps to get back to normal manaplus
open terminal
run: manaplus --no-opengl
then disable opengl in the settings of the client and restart it

The normal client also has the --no-opengl command line option. You can also change the graphic settings in your config.xml file.

By the way: When your graphics are messed up in OpenGL mode, it is a sign that you haven't got the correct driver for your video card installed.

leela. if your client is still scrweed up and you cant exit out of it. the only thing possible i found to do(it happened to me) is to let your computer battery die.

And Alt-F4 will still work. Only graphics are messed up with that.
