both "Mana" & "ManaPlus" combined. total size 9.4MB including music file......

Thanks so much for this. Being a traveler I LOVE portable apps. got a problem tho:
neither working for me running windows xp.

it opens like this and flashes between a skewed login page and whatever my last client was doing. (???) any advice?

@samesun, thanks for informing the issue and sorry I wasn't too interactive to forum posts. If you're still facing the issue you're welcome to inform. I tested the latest build on Windows 7 on mac, haven't faced any issue so far.

edit by tux9th: this client is not an official mana or manaplus release thus its quality and data content cannot be guaranteed to be working properly. Please take this into account when installing.

Why need it if you simply repacked installed versions?
Both clients already support portable versions.

Also ManaPlus is official client, about Mana not sure, now it not support all features and will support less from time, because devs not support it any more.

As long as players like it, anything wrong with it ? Nobody is being forced to use it.
I did it while free of time. I find this package useful.

And following package isn't just the repack. I had to change code and recompile.

After all it's open source. Feel free to modify the codes with proper attribution.

Ok, but if changed code where is sources?

You'll find source codes on the download section of manaportable.googlecode.com. I had to correct an issue to make the earlier version portable. (I also recommended Bjorn to change the code long ago. He changed it on the official source.)

I can see only some anciens sources and nothing more, can you give link?

Anyway mana now unsupported by devs, and if you want create some thing or package, may be you should create builds with ManaPlus for each existing server?
I creating build only for evol and tmw.

Yes the change I made was on earlier codes. But the packages are recent.


BTW, did you mean to create build for each existing server with server data ? (If so, I'll think of when free of time. Will talk later )

I mean build brended clients for servers. By default without servers list but with theme, known on server, may be something else.
