Salutations!

The Mage is the preferred character class however in The Mana World there are no character class selections. The class is chosen when we select stats. I prefer to select the optimal chracter stats to build a mage. What are the stats I need to select at the beginning of the character build to create a mage?

A new character cannot be a mage at the beginning. You need to be quite evolved in magic befire choosing good stats to become a mage. When you will reach level 48-50, you can start choosing your mage stats.

Mage stats are IMO:

a bit of each 10-11 of all first (doesn't cost many points and can be very useful).
then : max in INT
after that : a lot in VIT and LUCK or a lot in DEX (to attack with bow instead of loosing items against powerless mobs)
