Its funny that people think it is going to end in 2012 because the Misinterpretation of the Maya calendar.

The Mayans were obsessive with time. They actually have many units of time. Similar to our day, month, year, decade, century, millennium.

It is true that December 21, 2012 is a important date in the Maya calendar. And according to them a "beginning" of a new age.

To say it is the end of the world is absurd cause their long date count also changed on:

December 9, 435
March 13, 830
June 15, 1224
September 18, 1618

And is predicted to happen again on:

March 26, 2407
June 28, 2801
October 1, 3195
January 3, 3590
April 7, 3984
July 11, 4378

If the ancient Maya culture was alive today, they would actually have a HUGE celebration.

So instead of putting our doom days theories to work. We should actually focus on HAVING THE LARGEST ORGY OF MODERN TIMES!

I might have an idea what that new age is, if this cataclysm happens, then it will be a world of pain which our kids will suffer and will not enjoy their life as we do,
Or it is the end of the man, they have tried to destroy the nature, now watch the nature trying to destroy the humans

Im sorry that some may be even more scared because of this and i know that it isnt their fault, and IM not trying to be a pessimist but just take a look!
Woods are being destroyed, air pollution and this even sounds harmless whats really happening out there.

And if the world really is gonna end in 2012, then i wasted my precious time at school
