Maybe snake could have xml for tongue and/or eyes?
I would appreciate feedback on this mask.
Idea came from a set of canoptic / burial jars I pixeled ...I'll post those as concept/fringe items later.

Meway...sure I can color beard...to the darker "Lapis" blue.

Here is some color modifications to make it look more golden. I also made the highlights more visible. You will notice how these changes make the object pop out more giving it that 3D look. Marked with red arrows is showing why outlines should be one solid color around the object. All objects in tmw have an outine or should.

Edit: Placing your image to see better the difference

Edit: making it look more like gold, adjusting some highlights, and the beard

i really like this idea, not just the mask but the Egyptian thing going on here ....imo it would fit nicely with some of the older tile sets and boss monsters that just need to be finished  (desert temple,snake-lord-boss)....

the only thing i would change on the mask is maybe shorten the face part by moving the neck line up on it (i post png to show what im saying[see red -->])...other then that maybe add some gems in the eyes of the snake and maybe some jade parts idk..

i gave it a try to make the same mask before and failed.....so YEEEEAAAAAYY salmondine did one (good job on it so far    )..

We still got a half-finished desert temple tileset laying around which was abandoned by the original creator. It would be nice when someone would take over and complete it.

i think this is the tile-set topic....http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopi ... &start=285

it would be a good thing to keep in mind for fringe items

really like the last front view you did meway.
I still think the pallet is to muted...my original was too bright.
also really like skipys frontal side death frame.

When you make the darker shades a tiny bit more red and the brighter shades a bit more white it will look more golden.
