FINALLY!

He might come back though, apple's been working on the iComeBackFromTheDead ap - it makes you sparkle, never wash your hair, and "secretly" like men and livestock... like, as more than friends/pets/food.

Read the news, boys:

http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2008/08/steve-jobs-is-n/

Steve Jobs is not dead.

A faked Apple URL (I doubt they would ever title a pr release "rip steve jobs") and a "news" article from 2008?

God, what happened to these forums...

@ matt: i was hoping someone would be dumb enough to simply see the link and believe it, but apparently, that's not the case on these forums.
@ bertram: that's a grossly outdated article, if you really want to know steve's alive or not status, just check http://www.isstevejobsdead.com/

I am curious how fast that website would be updated in the event that Steve Jobs actually dies unexpectedly...
...curious enough to kill?

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

I would guess not very fast.... if you look at the page source it has the following comment:
<!-- This page is by no means a good method of seeing if Steve Jobs is dead -->
