Poetry Event

The event will takeplace on Tuesday May 17th

DELAYED UNTIL WE HAVE AT LEAST 5 POEMS

For the first time in Mana World history Holy Mana Clan and Crew of Red Corsair will hold a common event!

Players have to write a poem, the subject of which is related to the Mana World.
Poems have to be ten lines minimum.
Poems will be posted as personal messages to Travolta or Nard
either on:
TMW forum, Here , or
HMC Forum, http://holymanaclan.freeforums.org, or
CRC site and forum: http://crc.cetki.com

Well, seeming how it's a year and a half late, here's a poem on gaming for you.


Poem - Play Play Play

The whole day I stay,
I play and play and play.
Nothing that happens here
can make me go away.
The laundry and dishes,
they can wait another day,
and if I start to level,
they’re neglected anyway.

But most importantly
there are the things I get online.
A better item I can use
or longer share of time.
I’d care more for my family
if only they would play.
I’d give them gifts and warps and things,
to help improve their day.

And why my boss complains to me
I still don’t understand.
I’m feeling pretty happy
when I live in cyberland.
I never see the nastiness
that happens on the street,
and anyone that talks to me
are friends I’d like to meet.

So take away the real world
and leave the cyber one.
The one where my existence
is a joy, and pain is gone.
The one where I can daydream,
the one where I feel tough.
The one I live my fantasies
until it logs me off.

this one is short, but awsome:

Cookies are red,
Cookies are blue,
I like cookies
And so do you!

The Mana Anthem What? It would be cool!

Beyond the yonder hills of real,
There is a place of tempered steel,
Knives of rock and bones alike,
A battle field, and more reveals.

Arrows whoosh from every way,
Lightning blasting. Some; Dismay,
The healing then, makes all, alright,
To drag undead? Another day.

To which witch or wizard then,
Shall be the chosen for revenge?
Havoc reaped in deep, dark caves,
Rivalry fought until the end.

To Soul Menhirs, all give thanks!
Praise that stone, for through the ranks,
Life and time; immortal days,
Making all, never dank.

Praise be to all thine deities!
Creating all there is to see,
Mesmerizing, it may be,
In this world... I'm truly free.
