Hi, every time i try to see my skills, they all are "Mystery Skill", i did the focusing skill quest and the mallard's eye skill quest and i can't increase the level of any skill, also i don't know which skill to increase because they all are mystery skill.
is it a problem with my client?? or what should i do??

Are you using client 0.0.29.1? You should upgrade to 0.5.*

im using 0.5.2

i instaled TMW from the ubuntu repositories

i solved it, if someone have this problem and find this, just connect from windows to upgrade your skills

Hey im having this problem too, I just installed client version 0.5.2 two or three days ago.

I am using windows 7 ultimate (and have tired ofc with the normal TMW.exe)
I run the program as Admin, I note this because several programs on vista/7 have issues if you do not.

All my skills are listed as "*Mystery Skill", and as mentioned by other people earlier can not be upgraded.

I should have

-Emote
-Party
-Trade
-Focusing
-Brawling

I dont particularly wish to upgrade these skills but it would be nice to upgrade Mallard's Eye when i hit level 50 and can get it

I am also having this issue with my skills.
I joined back in the day of 0.29.1 and just recently re-joined and updated to 0.5.2.

I have many skills but no idea what i have.

I do know i have
-Trading
-Emote
As i can do these actions.

I also know i have
-Focus
-Brawling
-Party
As i just got them earlier today.

I should know general magic, i remember talking to the mana seed only to learn with the gear i had on i could not use magic
I should also have Resist Poison but am unsure.

On another note, i know i have Party skill because i just got it but am unable to make a party with the command "/createparty [name]"
I am thinking about trying to get speed skill but wonder if it will even work at this point.

for creat a party you need to have the party skill level 2.

I have this, i talked to the NPC twice, paid both 10 and 50 gold and a single 1 of my "Mystery Skill"'s is level 2 (witch changed right after i paid the NPC the 2nt time.)

are you doing this command in the right tab (party one) ?

Yes and no, I have tried in every tab available. I thought it was supposed to be done in the party tab but was unsure so i just tried the command in both tabs.

Something's wrong. I use 0.5.0 on my Mac, and that has names and icons for all the skills. Names and icons are part of the client updates which are usually downloaded automatically when you log in to server.themanaworld.org (the main server).

I don't know that this will let you create a party, but it might, and it's a problem to solve.
