The ability to paint a sprite for XML is very useful. One of the good ideas of the project. The way to identify and paint was also a great idea.
I would suggest new palettes alé detection of R, G, B, C, M, Y, W. Something like RR, GG, BB ... explain.

R will detect the color #000000 to #FF0000.
RR would detect color #FF0000 to #FFFFFF.
RR would serve to detect lighter colors as #FF0000, #FF2020, #FF8080. It would be one color with the RR [R = 255] and [G = B].

I believe that this new discovery RR will be widely used. Because pixel art there is plenty of light and shadow. R for red shade, and RR for red light. This would eliminate my difficulty coloring sprites ... and help many people.

sorry for my bad english

Posted in the wrong place, or could not explain my idea.
I wonder if my idea is heard and can be of any use. : P

While we aren't interested in doing this, it is an interesting idea. We don't use more than 3 recolorable channels usually and have never maxed to 6 channels. I think this is sufficient.
