The player Garvinre started to follow the group i was leveling in and attacking only what we attacked.

Our Group was, DarkestLight, ShadowOfNothing, Zehel, and myself, Sichel.
We were farming Sea Slimes when he started to follow us at 20:54.
We then questioned why and requested multiple times that he stop.
He continued until we stopped farming and then waited by us (not killing) for an additional 4 or 5 minutes.

Here is a ss including my full chat log for this time period (multiple extra screen shots to the right).


Im not sure if this is harassment but in my eyes it is. It was very rude and worsened my experience playing TMW.

This is not abuse, so i will be moving the post to player chat.

Im sorry to have posted in the wrong section, I really thought this could be considered abuse or harassment.
It may not be my place to say this but I think things like this should be punishable too.

There is no rule for attacking peoples targets, or following them for that matter but i do agree its quite annoying. good luck!

Harassment:
"to disturb persistently; torment, as with troubles or cares; bother continually; pester; persecute."

Based on this definition i was harassed, just not verbal. I would lake a clear response to if this is or is not against the rules from a GM, because at this point even the GMs seem split on this.

When people hunt in packs, and someone joins that pack, that is not abuse!
You can ask them to leave, they don't have to! Its still not abuse, if they are belligerent than it is abuse, that didn't happen here.

Now for Dayves question. Narus was there, you and i were not, very hard of me to comment on something i did not see based on only logs! I trust and respect Narus's judgement, if she saw something and deemed it abuse, I know it was abuse. If Narus had been abusing her powers, Emperror could have complained to the powers that be, and they would have acted. He did not, that speaks volumes also

Thank you, you explained the situation very well and i feel i understand the difference after your response.

I will try not to make mistakes in reporting abuse (or in this case non abuse.) In the future if i am unsure i will be sure to ask before posting something that might not actually be against the rules.

For this purpose if your online can i whisper you in game and ask? Ill understand if you dont wish me to bother you.

Of course, you can always talk to the gm's.

Its always been in my nature to ask, even if its a surefire yes answer, i just think its more polite that way.

@dayve: Emperror case is different to this, he was following Gillian in town in front of everyone there, she ignore him before and asked him to stop and he decide to go on, he was warned and questioned about that and he said his only purpose was to make Gill uncomfortable in game for days because she sit to steal drops, so after talking to both players, and Gillian mother, and since I was a direct witness of this attitude I step in.
I think you just don't readed prsm, he told you already making chars follow others to call them names insult and harass them is against the rules, in this case Gavinre did not such thing. Killing other peoples monsters is not against the rules.If that were against the rules i think we would ban 99% of players.
In the second case as you can read he was following players non stop, calling names and that was not part of any hunting that was also in town, so i kicked him.

@Sichel in your case i need to say first that i cant take screenshots as proofs, so my first idea is ignore him, also try to contact us when we are online and let us handle that.
He is a little kid and I'm sure he think thats funny so I'm sorry for that and next time contact us using @wgm and we will take care of the situation. But remember as prsm said if you are hunting on a spot and other player show up and kill with you or the monsters you are killing thats not against the rules thats a hard way but common to play.

I am looking, i see a kick and a log. You really need to read what others wrote. You are too quick to try and nail a gm to the floor. Last time i checked, a log is not abuse or against the rules! the log explains the kick is all, and he was following her, using the follow command, not helping to hunt in a pack.
