Bandits not dropping hoods.

I am working bandit quest. After 6 hood drops, bandits stopped dropping hoods. I have killed in excess of 40 w/o a drop. I there a problem?

There isn't any problem. The drop rate of hoods is 8% so there is nothing to worry about. Only bad luck.

It is rather disadvantageous to have relatively small drop rates (absolutely, that is; 8% is large for TMW) and requirements.

His marriage quest required 100, and depending on how you read it the drop rate was either 50%, or (more likely) the drop rate was 100% and he got enough to do the quest twice over (since that quest-giver was extremely prone to changing the conditions halfway through)[/win]

is there a patten to how often the bandits spawn?
