Right now the character has:

99 Dex (102 Dex with the top)
99 Agi (102 Agi with the cat ears)

But I was reading someplace that having over a 100 Dex/Agi wasn't worth the points...Should I save the points and reinvest them someplace else or is a 99/99 really worth it?

My favorite speed archer build is 100 dex, max agil (104 with ring), 10 vit, and the rest in luck.
The combination of luck and agility can give surprisingly good defense.

At level 90, wearing typical archer clothes, you can heal people too.

So the 100 Dex advice is good...a 102 Dex doesn't do anything more than a 100?

Increasing DEX from 99 to 100 is a damage bonus of 20. Increasing DEX from 100 to 102 is a damage bonus of 2.
There's also some voodoo with the Mallard's Eye skill (which is only applicable at skill level 9)

In short, no. If you have addons, use them to get to 100 agi and 100 dex and call it good. Use the other points on vit or luck

regarding mallard's eye, got level 9 presently it has range of seven wearing fur boots, fairy hat, archer armor, leather gloves, wedding band, snake chaps. dex is 89+3=92 ... will range increase w/ dex of 99?

Yes. Range with Mallard's Eye depends on Dexterity, and the maximum range is 8.

Wow, range of 8 would rock! By the by, trying to move into being a tank next. Have one archer nearly all trained up. Really don't think a speed skill is worth it, jmho. "oh look at me, running all nakey in the desert with snakes!!!"

If you want to be able to kill skulls, you need 100 in dex.

Rather than mallard's eye.. It would be better to go for Speed wouldnt it? A speed Archer can take on A Mallard's Archer any day and also get more exp points in a lesser amount of time.Also generally.. Since most monsters you'll be facing require lots of hits to die..As an archer focussing on speed and having around 96+ in dexterity should do the trick right?
Hit with greater frequency and get more exp points generally..
I used to focus on speed.. dump around 90 in dexterity and the rest in agility and could do quite well in most areas..[ofcourse this was before the newer changes so not sure now]

as an archer using agi and dex is a big mistake. I play as an archer and i have 80 strenght, 30 intel and 70 luck, those are the best skills to add to
