Erm.. Havent really checked the previous posts in relation to this but what is a good skill to focus on for an archer/mage? Speed,Mallards or the Magic one?
And also as a warrior..Speed is the only one to be focussed upon right? Is there anything warrior friendly coming out soon?

The
barbarians we're currently working on will release also a new skill, Raging, which is only for warriors.
You can already get it on the testserver, but it'll be changed before release, since it's too weak in its current version.

Thats great! a new skill for warriors is very much needed.
For a speed mage/archer, I prefer astral soul, otherwise your m. attack will be very weak.

mage-archer is not an archer, nor mage. if you get astral soul skill, i will be bad archer and weak mage, if you use mallard or speed skill, you will be bad mage and weak archer. i think the pure archer or pure mage can do much better.

with good gear, you can do a wicked archmage in the upper 90s
astral soul level 9, 95 dex, 90 int, 70 or 80 agi, rest in vit (should be about 60)
forest armor, wizard hat, terranite pants, amethyst ring for optimal stat boosts.
it definitely has it's drawbacks (crits are deadly, not as efficient for leveling as a "pure" class), but in pvp, you have a chance vs archers, and can downright murder mages and warriors.

In the old days (maybe a year ago), my main was an archer with just enough INT to cast healing on the same cell. This was wasteful (it was before Candle Helmet and Forest Armor), but worked pretty well.
Of course, this was also before skills were required to become a strong mage ... I'm not sure if you can have enough INT to overcome the armor penalty at lower levels anymore. Honestly, I think the introduction of the Astral Soul skill did the *opposite* of balance.
