After seeing how many people used firefox in the php topic on website development I thought it would be interesting to see how many people use what browser.

I tryed to include all the browsers I could think of.

That was fun.I accidently marked IE instead off Mozilla Firefox.

It's late and I've been playing games for to long today.

You forgot to include an "other" option... with these kind of polls there's a big chance someone doesn't use a noted option.

I voted IE because I'm used to it and it's pretty simple to use. All other browsers have a bunch of tools I don't really need.

Just a wonder: Why did you vote Firefox if you prefer Opera?

IE is virtually unuseable because of its many security vulnerabilities. Yes i know, other browsers got security vulnerabilities, too. but it is a matter of fact that they are much less exploited. i have NEVER heard of someone who ever got a browser hijacker while surfing with firefox, opera or some other alternative browser but i've seen countless cases of people who got coolwebsearch or other hijackers because they visited the wrong pages with IE.

Firefox is the browser i would recommend for the average user because it is a slim and secure browser that got everything it needs and it can be upgraded with countless extensions.

But i for myself prefer opera because it got so many features. some might call it bloated but i really like to have so many useful tools integrated in one application. it takes some time to find every feature and learn how to use it efficiently. but after that it became a valuable tool which really changed my online life.

Yes I will remember that next time. I should have added a fake option that sounded kool just to see how many people would clikc it

I voted Firefox but I also use elinks - depends on what I have to do ...

If you aren't completely computer illiterate, any browser is fine. However, if you're the kind of guy that sees a big picture saying "Find *HOT* singles in your area!" or "OMFG YOU WON AN IPOD!!!" and clicks it... well, maybe after that Internet Explorer is just weeding out the dumb ones. And i don't think any browser can save the porn addicts.
