OK, I've recently had a really stupid problem, which I will show soon by uploading to Youtube and posting a link here, but until that time I will try my best to explain it, OK, so I will be pressing the right arrow key, it starts walking like it should, then, it freezes for a fraction of a second, makes me face up, then it makes me go diagonal, all the while I'm only pressing one direction, it does this with all directions though, so help would be appreciated

You probably accidentally enabled "crazy move".

Look up the key in settings, close settings and press it, then open settings and unbind the key.

As o11c said you enabled crazy moves. First letter in yellow bar mean move type. for default must be big D.
Default key to switch move modes is 1 on numeric keyboard. press it until you have big D.

For disable yellow bar, default key 8 on numeric keyboard. If press it, yellow bar will be gray and all keys from it disabled.
