Hey guys, look, I know this probably won't go down well with you guys, but about 10 minutes ago I was banned for botting (Didn't respond in given time). I've played legitimately up to level (39 or 49, whatever level I was before today), and I heard that botting was allowed as long as I wasn't AFK, so I decided to use it for a while. Basically, I had to go downstairs to get some food, and when I got back I had been banned. I've literally only been botting for about 30-40 minutes, so are my hopes to regain my character going to be fruitful? Next time I will make sure I don't go AFK while running a bot or whatever.

aidenscool, you have to create an alt and whisper a gm in the game to get unbanned, we
cant do it over the forums.

Probably the best thing to do...except play the game yourself rather than letting your autopilot do it. It is frowned on, but because our turing system can't stop this behavior, it isn't illegal to do. This is different from being okay, cool, awesome or legal. We aren't aiming to protect this behavior with gaming policy and we'd rather find tools to stop it.

That reminds me of that case where a caravan driver in the us (where else?) had a crash because he switched on the cruise control and then went into the back to get a drink and then sued the motor company because the manual didn't tell him not to do that.
