z-spam. illegal?

in the game, drops are collected with the button z
so i find it a bit of a hassle going around picking items
so i made a script to spam z's everywhere i walk around
(with a toggle of course, so you won't see me saying zzzzzzzzz lol)
is it illegal to do so?

and some technical questions
will the script cause a certain player to overload the server?
i mean, my script goes a 'z' at a hundredth of a second lol

I agree that it's a hassle.

No, but the server has a protection against too many packets coming in at once from a client. I believe that rate-limiter will kick you off. (kick, not ban, so you can just reconnect).

As far as I remember, what really happens when you push the Pick-up key is that the client sends a "I pick this up" message to the server for every item in pickup range. So when there are no items around, no messages are sent to the server.
