Well this is my first attempt at Pixel art, I used Gimp.

The first step is to give the image a dark outline.
do not use pure balck, a dark grey should be good enough.

Can you please use the attachment feature of the forum? That way you can put images right in your post and make it unnecessary for us to go to another website (although in this case it is a bit pointless, because it's white on white ground).

So far you have only made a one-colored lineart, so there isn't much to criticize yet. The only advice I can give in this stage is to try to avoid straight lines and use curves instead. When you design any object which is not man-made, you should generally try to do this - mother nature doesn't own a ruler.

Hey Tezer, I really don't understand how you possibility cannot see how to add an image directly to the forum... Just scroll down a bit. When you see the "Filename" line, just browse your computer, choose the image (it should be in .png format since it is necessary for the TMW graphcis) and then click on "Add the file". After that you either place the file in your text or just leave it like that and it will be posted at the end of your message. You can use the "Preview" option to see how your post will look like.

Now, I know I told you to start with simple like a banana but please add transparency. If you do not know how to do that, check over the internet, I can spot hundreds of pages explaining how to do that on GIMP.

Here is a rough draft I made for you. You can start from that.
