maybe server administration should pay more attention to daily backups. 3 lost days is too much, i think. this event may distract more players from the game than multiboxers, now prohibited.

maybe there are too much server crashes? 11-15, 11-18. what can this mean? hardware problems? admins incompetency?

You do realize that rather than pointing fingers about this, you might want to be thankful someone even managed to get the server back up without further data loss? There's a chance there may be a newer backup somewhere, but distracting the admins with questions and calling them incompetent only means less time spent trying to fix this issue that's bothering you and other players..Not to mention I don't see what this has to do with multiboxers, in any way - this was hardly a planned change, you know?

Creating a new account with the same username doesn´t work... "The username is in use!"
Creating a new acount with another username doesn´t work... No email replay and no login possible =)

So now what?!?

Hey folks (especially admins ^^),

I would like to thank you for putting that much effort into maintaining and restoring the servers. I suppose quite some people would just have said: I've had it, I'm done with this.

Platyna, if you read this, one suggestion: How about you add a Paypal-Button to the Homepage of the project so people could give you small donations? You know, just to reimburse you a bit for the expenses you have for running the server?

Paypal icon is not bad idea if someone wants to drop a penny.

However the issue here is that we had to reboot the machine to fix the connection with our sysbackup disk array which failed and I am still putting my time to fix it.

So before anyone here, calls me incompetent, I do recommend to bend himself by 90 degree and then accelerate facing towards closest wall.

paypal is good idea, maybe platyna can afford to upgrade hardware or what else. i like this game and dont want server to be crashed. i was very angry with losing much valuable stuff. but thanx for fixing problem.

here in russia is a project to help crippled children, they accumulated more than $4 000 000 in a week by receiving sms to short number. may somebody think about something like this?

Well, that was simply problem with disk array connection - which was basically not a hardware fail but kernel driver one.
