Dunno if you were serious about that tone, but if yes:
We are volunteers with lots of stuff to do, please keep that in mind.
AFAIK there's currently no quest planned with it as reward.

Perhaps there can be a quest to show how stealthy the character can be with a combination of having some type of time trial to finish, similar to the speed skill quest. Once the quest is completed, the character can now have assassin's armor available to be crafted. Maybe, also, there can be a reward at the end of the quest with some type of assassin's dagger or something.

Assassin set raises agi, which raises player speed. A pity it does nothing for dev speed, tho

I am compelled to warn against necros but I'm gonna make an informal rule that if you're one of the original posters and it's been 10 years or more then you're justified cause it's funny

That's because necromancy is allowed in TMW
