I made this to go in hurns possibly. It could be used some place else but the effort is to remove the well that looks broken because its out of perspective xD

In Hurnscald, the "well" you are talking about is in fact a wooden pump. We all know it is out of perspective, that is why I remade it a while ago with the help of some other artists. Here it is with its xml file.

Good job. I still want the fountain well in game. Its not finished I still need to add a bottom base for it.

Edit: I decided to make it 3D and flip it at a 45 You did a very good job there IMO. I like your pump. The image below is my result .

When you are creating something which is supposed to fit into an existing environment, you should use the same color palette.

That's not a 45° perspective, I can see a circle instead of a 7-to-10 ellipse.

Than blender does not know what 45 degree is unless your talking about his version. (my cheap 3D model is not intended for using as anything but a refurance)

Here is my update on the fountain

@var: Thanks a lot, yours looks way better than mine!
@meway: Nice work, you now need to make it be animated and make its colors fit Hurnscald.

Ali

@Var I love the larger base It makes sense given the size of our water bottles.
the spreading water ring animation is great.
the water color still needs something, it is maybe a little too gray-chalky, opaque... I know your still working =]

@Meway, The fountain gets better and better every time I see it, I'm simply impressed with how you modeled this =]
I love the water transparency in the top opening
seems like a great place to use a particle effect for falling water animation.
the water color still needs something it seems too dark over all

.................
Given that both are designed for hurnscald the water color needs to match up better in the pump and the fountain.
it would be great to have both images without water and agree on a water palette and transparency level.
maybe you can both get together on this?

You should match the color of the rocks to the gray stones at the house walls, not the black stones of the floor.

You also need to keep the light direction into account. Those parts of the structure which face the light source need to be brighter than those in the shadow.
