Scuba Suit Mock Up

So I figured if in the game you can't go underwater by swimming, why not by Scuba Suit? I started to design a Scuba Suit based off of the designs of Leonardo Da Vinci from the 1500s so that it would fit the era of the game. Here is Leonardo Davinci's design:
Here is what I have thus far:
Of course I still have to make the rest of the suit. However, this suit would enable a character to be able to walk underwater at the bottom of the ocean and still fit the time era without being too modern.

really like it, though it needs texture and shading.

Heres a scuba NPC Wizard who lives underwater. He is an expert in water magic and lives among the Tritans. Still needs a Davinci Scuba Suit to breathe though.

I'm interested in this project, I would love to see this in-game.
I just thought that your mask looks very much like a Carbon Gas mask me and Ali-G did, maybe you could use this to help you, except of course the mask would be more like a helmet.
I also thought if you adapt the Da Vinci suit to have a helmet like this one;

it would be more cool, in my opinion.
Great Work.

I repeat what i said not long ago

if someone just started with art/pixel art he/she probably might do not know how to properly add shade and texture

"it needs texture and shading" is not a magic spell that let him/her suddenly understand shading and texturing without examples/texts to study and exercize
