I've been wondering for months which class can get iron ores the fastest does anyone have idea which one does ?

My fastest iron gatherer is an archer with Mallet Eye skill.

For me, the primary issue when grinding drops from easy monsters is cost, so I often use a warrior. That's what alts are for.

being a mage have good supply of iron ores because a problem

faaaster, 100str + 100 agi build (with bone knife, cat ears, sorc robe, terra legs, and ruby ring) :D:D

I use my speed archer, setzer equipped, (it fits well killing single terranites and skeletons too)

LOL, that is maybe because the developers didn't realize it is a 2 handed weapon but is setted as 1 handed weapon in game, that is why it has a higher attack speed than the other 1 handed weapons...

If you have to use an alt to complete a quest without pulling your hair out, then there's a problem with that quest.

I don't *have* to use an alt (I *have* done plenty of grinding as an arch, and even some as a mage!), I do because I'm paranoid about inefficiency.

I have to grind a lot as well looks like speed archer is the fastest

Would it be safe to say that this would be a much more valid discussion if the yellow slimes actually spawned fast enough? Unless you are trying to compete with other players for drops the yellows just are not going to spawn fast enough to worry about speed of collection.

That's certainly a valid question. Usually I hit a couple red slimes at the same time. If you do this in the Terranite Cave you *will* have to hunt down a bunch of yellows because not enough people kill them to prevent them from wandering away from their spawn points.
