My accounts got locked by Frost.
My little brother did something bad , as frost told me he wanted to stole Falloutboy password.
I made my computer now with password and i don't care about chars of my brother because hes friend is alan12 and i think alan12 and my little brother are same.
Frost don't belive me that im owner of Pluto and Monicco account.
He ask for email that i created my accounts but i already told him that my accounts have been created long time ago with out email because at that time was just to press register in game.
I talked with bjron and mrgrey too.

irrelevant. Use the standard account password recovery method. Provide the email address to frost that was used to create the accounts and they will be returned to you. At least that is my understanding.

BTW, my brother/sister/friend did xyz is a standard lie, so you would be better off not even mentioning it

Also, you are responsible for securing your own account.

Even if you're telling the truth, you are 100% responsible for what your brother/friend/whatever does with your account.

i have to concur with frost and big crunch here, your account has has shown to be using some dubious activity, if you want your accounts unlock, provide the information asked. If you can't, i am afraid they will stay locked.

Sorry to step in this way, but I felt like a vital point was missed here. If pluto's old accounts predate any proper registration with email, how can he be expected to provide this nonexistant email?

REMINDER to keep from this situation from happening in the future, learn to use the @email command
of course replacing youremail@website.com with your personal email account

I agree that someone shouldn't be locked out of their account for some procedural reason like "no email address on file." In fact, several players know that I find creative ways to verify their identity in exactly that situation.

To me, the real issue is not whether pluto belongs to rodrigo. He's well established in the forums. The real issue is that he openly tried to steal someone's account.


Here's the history.

Someone came on IRC last week as Falloutboy and asked for me to reset his password, which he had forgotten.
When I told him the usual procedure to request a password reset, he explained that his account was too old to have an email address. When I told him that it did have an email address and asked him to tell me what he might have used, he couldn't tell me.
He did offer other ways to prove his identity. He knew that he had last logged on a few days ago, that he was French, and he posted screenshots of the accounts.

After much conversation over several days, he failed to provide more than vague evidence that he was the real Falloutboy. I refused to give him the account.

During this time, Pluto logged on to IRC and requested GM 60 on the testing server. I happened to notice that he had the same Mibbit ID as Falloutboy.

I did a little research and learned that those IDs are a hash of the person's IP address. When I looked back through my IRC chat logs, I found that the same ID was consistently used only by pluto, until it was used when he came on to ask for the falloutboy account.

I looked at Pluto's account info on the server. This is a role-playing game, and it's certainly possible that he uses several different names online and uses email hosting in different parts of the world. It's possible that he has made friends over the years who have left the game and given their accounts to him. It's possible that he has a brother, and that brother obtained the alan12 account through legitimate means.

There can be no doubt, however, that Pluto tried to steal Falloutboy's account.

The truth here is that I was not un but my brother.
In these entries in irc I could see that he loved to steal my player
No one never had any problem from me.
eAnamor can confim too. Im married with she in game and she know's me perfect and you can ask here if Arian Asimi is owner of pluto account.

He connect on this computer we use it both but he wanted to steal falloutboy account.Than from those logs that frost showed, i can see that he wanted to steal my account too.
he did this from this computer and the ip address are same and now you guys don't belive me for no reason because im telling the truth and you think that im lying. thats all

Unless you can somehow provide a TMW admin who saw you register the account in real life back in 2004 and can verify that you are the same person now, nothing will change from the current state. Saying that it isn't you behind the computer is impossible for the GHP to confirm. Without some kind of concrete proof, they have no choice but to accept what evidence is available.

Having said that, as I understand it, nobody is saying you can't play the game. Create a new account, register it correctly, and use this as a learning lesson so it never happens again.

When everything comes down to it, you're arguing about the "ownership" of a few colored specks of light.

I will never create new character to play because i worked a lot for my char and you guys stole it.
I want to get my char back but if you don't want to back my char you can say that i will not give your char back never and i will leave the game forever.

You claim that:

• Your brother uses your accounts
• Your brother uses IRC as you
• Your brother tried to steal falloutboy's account
• Your brother then tried to steal the account you share (huh??)
• Until now, you had no knowledge that he steals accounts

I will add one more item to that list: You and your brother write in exactly the same way, argue in the same style, and have memory of the same conversations.

If your claims are true, this presents a real puzzle: How can we be sure that we return your accounts to you, and not this dishonest brother? I cannot think of any way to differentiate the two of you.

In fact, even after the account is returned to the "real pluto," I see it could be very difficult to protect it from this dishonest brother. He has been caught before, and you are still surprised and unable to prevent your accounts from being used to steal.

Don't worry my brother can't connect anymore on this computer because i did it with password and no one can connet on this computer anymore but i know that its little late this but i don't know how to stop it other ways...
