What do you think of a yoyo as a weapon? It could also be easily upgraded. Here is one that starts out made as wood.

I like this idea - anyone know if it's possible to apply splash damage to a weapon? It seems a dirty fix, but.. a yoyo could be spun around the player in a circle, so if that weapon allowed you to hit multiple targets with one hit, it would still be a fun weapon even if the damage were lower than most.

Yeah, killing slimes that way would be fun!

i dont want to say this ....but i hate the yoyo idea do to it being a big part of the "StarTropics" games on the nes. thats just imo. i vote no.
