Well,in the Wiki Page of the Mana World,in the Roadmap page have this:
"TMW 0.0.20 (end of June)
* Animated effects
* New animation system
* Female Playerset
* Visible equipment
* Support an arbitrary number of layers per map. There will always need to be exactly one fringe layer (maybe rename to objects layer) and one obstacle layer. --Bjørn 16:15, 24 December 2005 (CET)
* Port GUI code to Guichan 0.5.0 (to be released soon, ChangeLog). "
The update will be this month(in this case,today) or no?If no,when will be?
Sorry for my bad english :/

I think we could do it in a week, the code is almost done except the animated effects which actually I don't even know what is it, and multiple layers.
We only need some more time for testing and especially some new visible equipment created by Modanung.

some weeks ago we talked about the animated effects quite a lot on the mailing list. i even made some patches. it just didn't got in because we got into a dispute about the best way to integrate it.
i decided to wait until the new animation system is ready, so we can use it for the effects, too. but i doubt that the effects will get into .20.

I'll see if I can work on the multiple layers tomorrow, although I cannot promise anything. But would be nice to get that off the list.

If there is estimated release date set you may easly add to it a month or two.

Ah, I remember the days when we were pushing a release out consistently every month, with always something cool to show.

I just want to say (since there is lot of negative feedback) this is a great project and it has come a long way since i first played last year.
Keep it up

I know how hard it is to stick to deadlines and roadmaps.

Unfotunately a thunderbolt destroyed my phone line so it took a while to get back on road, and I think it means it will take till the next week-end to see a new release.
