I accidently made this acorn when making another item.

Do you prefer it to the existing one ?
New: Old:

Yours is definitely better, but it turned out very dark. I would have used brighter colors for the fruit part.

That's why I prefer the new one, cause it is more dark then the currently

The actual one has a more realistic color but looks abit too much to a hazelnut , your's a better shape. I'am a bit undecided.

Good job, however:
use no more than 6 colors,
work on the colors,
use less saturated colors,
center your icon correctly,
remove dirty pixels.

Well simply reduce the number of colors at first. Then establish a pallet that fits correctly the item, here an acorn. Finally, work on the overall shading and outline.

i love the acorn void, but i prefer the old one. With your acorn the hat is to wide and sticks out further than it does on a usual acorn. The old one has a better shape around the acorn.

The answer might have been obvious to you, but it wasn't obvious to me and very likely not for v0id either.

Unless you want to do all graphic artwork for TMW yourself in the future, we should have some patience with newcomer artists. Just like we had a lot of patience with you when you were new.

If anything my acorn just needs a darker outline or more obvious outline. Here is an update for you.

Took me no more than 300 seconds. It is bad but anything is better than the actual TMW acorn item icon.

I disagree with you there, Chicka; acorns often have large fat hats that make them stick out further than normal

I like the new Acorn it's the shape and color of it looks better just looking at these new acorns graphics makes me want to collect more Acorns .The old one is pretty out dated so yeah it's time for a change .
thumbs up for new acorns .

Did you ever see a perfect fruit on earth? As human we don't have an unique shape and size

I like this size of the acorn's hat, maybe a little bright to get a better look!
