Assassin's class

Hello all,
I have created a new character some times ago to try something else than my mage.

This is a warrior based on AGI and critical rate, more or less the same thing than speed archers, but I don't know if he will be able to freeze monsters at high level. Is it possible on short range ?

Hello Lota :)
All i can say is that you can freeze skeletons when you are a speed archer, with a knife.
It works with speed skill focused at level 9 and 99 in agility. I haven't tried another thing though, maybe that it works with other monsters ?

On a warrior, freezing will work with many monsters that have range=1 attack. However many of the hardest monsters have range=2, so they will hit your melee player regardless.

For example: lady skeleton, skulls, yeti, jack-o, fallen, zombie, ice element, spectre, polt, wisp will all out-range a melee player regardless of speed. It will work with skeleton and terranite.

Also, the odd time something with a status effect gets through (eg. snake with poison), will still wreak havoc on you with that poison.

Note that at very high levels, your build of agi + speed warrior still works, because many high level monsters will consistently miss you at that point, assuming you have 66+ luck to avoid their criticals.

How can range influence freezing on melee ?

it also works with terranites. It could work with other mobs if they hadn't a range greater than yours

range has no influence in freezing which only keeps monster at weapon range distance. If monster's attack range is greater...

Because freezing isn't really freezing. It's not like you encase them in a block of ice (or carbonite) for the remainder of the battle.

Flinching would be a better word for it, and it only happens for a fraction of second, and must be continually reapplied in specific time intervals, to be effective. This is so specific, that you can actually "go to fast" as an archer, and stop being able to flinch some creatures, as you gain the ability to flinch others, as you move from one interval range to another. Also this technically is considered a bug or exploit. Using it seems to be tolerated, but Mana devs could fix it tomorrow, just so you know.

Anyhow, because flinching is so transient, range really matters. Archers, with range = 5+, easily out-range all melee monsters (with ranges of 1, 2, or even 3), so they can maintain hitting control on their melee monster target, without it ever having the chance to come into range and fight back. But if a monster has the same or greater range than you, then this will not apply, since it will be able to hit you between flinches if it is also already in range for its attack.

Technically, the flinch doesn't stop the monster's counter-attack, it stops the monster from being able to move itself towards you. If that prevents the attack, due to the monster being out of its attack range, then you are safe. That is how it works.

Nice creating warriors sir,,, i also like the warrior cause he is the best characters, that can make the enemy a big damage or the best skill to attack.

unless youre able to be a raging bull warrior dont expect delivering very high damage though normal ragers do alright if you can get enough str. and ragers of all types are best suited for fast moving hard to hit or super hi defense mosnters like jack os and yetis. there is no best class, as no class is perfect versus all mobs.
