In the bat cave, bats wiggle arround only.
At the north pole, I had a santa-monster that expressed smileys! When I killed it, about a dozen rudolph-monster splattered too.

They're called features.

When you kill the santa slime, his minions also die. This is indeed intensional, as well as the expressing of smilies (although I don't say that I'm approving of this).

Bats have to stay in the air, so they have to wiggle their wings the whole time. This too, is intensional. Though if you look closely, you'll see that their animation does change to a bite when they attack.

Mobs using smilies? Intensionally or not - it goes as a bug in my book.

Monsters have feelings too

Yeah, but they should show them as in biting your head off or fleeing into the forest. Not as having a yellow face over their heads.
